India Dominate From The Beginning

India entered the final in excellent form after producing impressive performances throughout the tournament, and they continued with the same attacking intent in the title clash.

From the opening minutes, the hosts controlled possession and regularly pushed forward in search of the breakthrough.

Their efforts finally paid off in the 42nd minute when Pyari Xaxa found the back of the net to give India a deserved lead.

Bangladesh Fight Back Before Half-Time

Despite India’s dominance, Bangladesh responded strongly before the interval.

Deep into first-half stoppage time, Rituparna Chakma scored the equaliser to bring Bangladesh back into the contest and silence the home crowd temporarily.

The first half eventually ended 1-1, leaving the final wide open heading into the second half.

Sanfida Restores India’s Advantage

India regained control almost immediately after the restart.

Early in the second half, Sanfida Nongrum scored with a brilliant header following an excellent assist from Pyari Xaxa, restoring India’s lead and shifting momentum firmly back in favour of the hosts.

Bangladesh attempted several attacking moves in search of another equaliser, but India’s defence remained composed under pressure.

Lynda Seals Historic Triumph

As Bangladesh pushed forward late in the game, India found more space in attack.

Substitute Lynda Kom Serto then delivered the decisive blow in the 82nd minute, effectively sealing the title for the Blue Tigresses with India’s third goal of the evening.

The final whistle confirmed a commanding 3-1 victory and sparked celebrations among Indian players and supporters.
