Mumbai, May 4, 2026: Titan, India’s leading watchmaker, has launched its Diver’s Watch Collection in Mumbai, marking its entry into the performance-driven dive watch category.…

Mumbai, May 4, 2026: Titan, India’s leading watchmaker, has launched its Diver’s Watch Collection in Mumbai, marking its entry into the performance-driven dive watch category. The collection was introduced at Khimani Watch Company, a well-established destination for watch enthusiasts in the city. This association ensures that the collection is available through a trusted retail destination with a strong understanding of the local watch market and its consumers.

The Diver’s Collection is priced between ₹15,795 and ₹77,995 and comprises twelve models across four water-resistance levels including 100m, 200m, 300m, and 500m offered in both quartz and automatic variants. The range has been developed to address varied usage contexts, from everyday aquatic activity to more demanding underwater conditions, marking Titan’s entry into a segment defined by precision and durability.

At the forefront of the lineup is the 500m professional diver’s watch, representing Titan’s most advanced offering in this category. Crafted from Grade 2 Titanium, the watch features the Aqua Lock mechanism designed to prevent unintended bezel movement during dives. Each piece is built in line with ISO 6425 standards, underscoring its credentials as a purpose-built dive instrument. The watch also includes a sapphire unidirectional bezel, helium escape valve, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and Titan’s in-house 7AC0 automatic movement with a 40-hour power reserve.

Commenting on the launch, Atul Khimani, Owner, Khimani Watch Company, said, “Over the past few years, we’ve seen a clear shift in Mumbai toward watches that are backed by strong engineering and purpose, not just design. Titan’s Diver’s Collection enters at the right moment, offering credible dive specifications while remaining versatile for everyday wear. It’s a category that has been gaining interest, and this collection makes it far more accessible to a wider set of consumers.”

Across the collection, Titan has combined functionality with a distinctive design approach. The watches feature textured gradient dials inspired by underwater depth, complemented by clean finishing details and high-performance X1-C3 Swiss Super-LumiNova for enhanced visibility. While the 300m and 500m variants are equipped with automatic movements and advanced dive features, the 100m and 200m models focus on reliability and ease of use through quartz precision and robust stainless steel construction.

With this launch, Titan enters the professional dive watch segment, presenting a collection that blends technical performance with contemporary design for a new generation of watch enthusiasts.

Mumbai, April 12: Royal Challengers Bengaluru delivered a powerful all-round show to beat Mumbai Indians by 18 runs in a run-fest at the Wankhede Stadium…

Mumbai, April 12: Royal Challengers Bengaluru delivered a powerful all-round show to beat Mumbai Indians by 18 runs in a run-fest at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday.

Read Bengali: IPL 2026: আইপিএলে দাপট আরসিবির, ঘরের মাঠে ১৮ রানে হার মুম্বাই

Batting first after being asked to set a total, RCB posted a massive 240/4 in 20 overs. The innings was powered by explosive knocks from Phil Salt (78 off 36 balls), Virat Kohli (50), and skipper Rajat Patidar, who blasted 53 off just 20 deliveries. Tim David provided the perfect finishing touch with an unbeaten 34 as RCB crossed the 240-mark.

In reply, MI started with intent but kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Ryan Rickelton and Suryakumar Yadav got decent starts, while Hardik Pandya chipped in with a quick 40. However, the real fight came from Sherfane Rutherford, who remained unbeaten on 71 and kept the chase alive till the very end.

Despite a late flourish, the asking rate kept climbing, and RCB’s bowlers held their nerve in the death overs. MI finished at 222/5, falling 18 runs short in what turned out to be a record-breaking high-scoring encounter (total aggregate 462 runs).

This victory highlighted RCB’s strong batting depth and composure under pressure. For MI, it’s another disappointing result as they continue to search for consistency in the season.

Kolkata: What a night at the Salt Lake Stadium! Mohun Bagan Super Giant came from behind twice to snatch a dramatic 3-2 victory over Punjab FC on Sunday, April 12, 2026.

The hosts looked in early trouble when Dani Ramirez gave Punjab the lead in the 13th minute. But Jamie Maclaren responded brilliantly before the half-hour mark, levelling the scores at 1-1 going into the break.

Read Bengali: কামিন্সের শেষ মুহূর্তের গোলে কামব্যাক, পাঞ্জাবকে হারাল বাগান

After the restart, Punjab struck again in the 60th minute through a stunning volley from Nsungusi Effiong, putting the visitors 2-1 ahead.

Just when it seemed Mohun Bagan were staring at defeat, substitute Sahal Abdul Samad produced pure magic in the 74th minute. From nearly 30 yards out, he unleashed a rocket that looped over the defence and dipped into the net — a genuine goal-of-the-season contender that made it 2-2.

The drama wasn’t over. Deep into stoppage time (90+1′), Jason Cummings stepped up for a free-kick and delivered a superb set-piece that sailed past everyone and found the back of the net, sparking wild celebrations among the home fans.

It was a classic comeback win built on resilience and quality finishing when it mattered most. Mohun Bagan showed real fight and character in front of their passionate Kolkata crowd.

Chennai: Sanju Samson finally lit up the yellow jersey in style! The Kerala star smashed a sensational unbeaten 115 off just 56 balls , his maiden century for Chennai Super Kings, as CSK posted a commanding 212/2 and then defended it brilliantly to register their first victory of IPL 2026, beating Delhi Capitals by 23 runs at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk on Saturday.

Read Bengali: IPL: দিল্লির বিরুদ্ধে মরসুমের প্রথম জয় চেন্নাইয়ের, ফর্মে ফিরলেন সঞ্জু স্যামসন

Opting to bat first, CSK got off to a slow start with skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad struggling for timing (15 off 18). But Samson took charge, maintaining an aggressive tempo throughout and finding the perfect partner in young Ayush Mhatre, who chipped in with a fluent 59. The duo added 113 runs for the second wicket. In the end, Shivam Dube came in as a finisher (20 off 10) after Mhatre was retired out, helping push the total past 210.

In reply, Delhi Capitals began brightly with Pathum Nissanka racing to 41 off 24, but CSK’s pace attack soon took control. Anshul Kamboj, Jamie Overton, Khaleel Ahmed, and debutant Gurjapneet Singh each picked up key top-order wickets. Gurjapneet made an instant impact, dismissing DC captain Axar Patel with his very first ball in IPL.

The middle overs belonged to Jamie Overton, whose fiery spell of 4/18 choked the life out of DC’s chase. Tristan Stubbs fought hard with a valiant 60 off 38, and a brief partnership with Ashutosh Sharma kept hopes alive, but once Noor Ahmad broke that stand, the innings crumbled. Overton had the final say in a heated 19th over, dismissing a frustrated Stubbs.

Kamboj (3/35) wrapped up the tail efficiently as DC were bowled out for 189 in the final over.

It was a much-needed boost for the five-time champions, who had endured a slow start to the season. Samson’s explosive knock, combined with smart bowling variations on a tricky Chepauk surface, proved decisive.

Chennai: Lalrindika’s early strike gave them the perfect start, but it was two goals in the dying minutes that sealed a gritty victory for the…

Chennai: Lalrindika’s early strike gave them the perfect start, but it was two goals in the dying minutes that sealed a gritty victory for the Red & Gold Brigade.

At the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai, East Bengal showed real character as they came from a mid-match lull to defeat Chennaiyin FC 3-1 on Saturday night.

Read Bengali : ISL: বিরতির পর প্রথম অ্যাওয়ে ম্যাচে চেন্নাইয়িনকে হারাল ইস্ট বেঙ্গল

The visitors began brightly, pressing high and playing with sharp intent. In just the 7th minute, Saul Crespo slipped a lovely through ball, and Edmund Lalrindika finished calmly to put East Bengal 1-0 up.

Chennaiyin gradually found their footing. Irfan Yadwad hit the post before equalising in the 28th minute with a delicate chip over the advancing goalkeeper. The first half ended level, and for large parts of the second half, Chennaiyin looked the more dangerous side, creating chances while East Bengal struggled to regain their early rhythm.

Substitutions disrupted the flow further, and as the clock ticked past 75 minutes, it seemed like the points might slip away from the visitors.

Then came the late drama. In the 83rd minute, Bipin Singh rose powerfully to head East Bengal back into the lead. Chennaiyin pushed forward in search of an equaliser, but they were caught on the break. Deep into stoppage time (96th minute), a swift counter-attack saw Miguel Figueira set up Nandhakumar Sekar, who slotted home confidently to make it 3-1.

It wasn’t East Bengal’s most controlled performance, but it was built on resilience and clinical finishing when it mattered most.

The win lifts them to third place in the ISL table, ahead of Mohun Bagan on goal difference.

After the match, goalscorer Edmund Lalrindika summed up the spirit: “I want to win trophies for East Bengal.”

Shreyas Iyer once again showed why he’s the perfect leader for Punjab Kings, smashing an unbeaten 69 off just 33 balls to guide his team to a comfortable six-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2026 on Saturday.

Read Bengali: PBKS vs SRH: পাঞ্জাবের আক্রমণে জলে গেল হায়দ্রাবাদের পরিশ্রম

Chasing a stiff target of 220, PBKS got off to a flying start with Priyansh Arya (57 off 20) and Prabhsimran Singh (51 off 25) blasting a sensational 99-run opening stand. The duo tore into the SRH attack during the powerplay, reaching 93 without loss and setting the perfect platform.

Abhishek Sharma had earlier lit up the game with a brutal 74 off 28 balls (including eight sixes), adding 120 runs with Travis Head (38 off 23) in just 8.1 overs to power SRH to 219/6. However, Shashank Singh’s double strike in one over shifted the momentum, and Xavier Bartlett kept things tight at the death with a brilliant final over.

In the chase, Priyansh raced to a 16-ball fifty with some clean hitting, while Prabhsimran danced down the track to smack big sixes. Though Shivang Kumar picked three wickets to raise SRH’s hopes, Shreyas Iyer stayed calm and finished the job in style with seven balls to spare.

The win was built on smart captaincy too — Shreyas cleverly used Shashank Singh and Yuzvendra Chahal to break the explosive SRH opening stand when the pacers were being hammered.

A complete team performance, led from the front by their skipper!

With 200 runs in just four matches, including this match-winning 78, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has announced himself as one of the most exciting young talents in the IPL.

Mohammed Azhar, the 22-year-old central midfielder for Kerala Blasters FC, has voiced his team’s determination to win the AIFF Super Cup 2025 to secure a coveted playoff berth in the 2025-26 AFC Champions League Two (ACL2). In an exclusive interview with a leading sports outlet on October 28, 2025, Azhar stated: “Our goal is to win the Super Cup and claim that AFC spot. That’s what we want to achieve.” The young star, who has been a squad regular under new coach David Catalán, emphasized the tournament’s importance as a redemption arc following a challenging 2024-25 season.

Kerala Blasters’ Rocky Road: From Stahre’s Exit to Catalán’s Arrival
Kerala Blasters handed the reins to Swedish coach Mikael Stahre ahead of the 2024-25 ISL season, signing high-profile players like Noah Sadaoui and Kwame Peprah. However, results were dismal: a group-stage exit in the Durand Cup and a mid-table ISL finish (8th place with 26 points from 22 games). Stahre and his support staff were sacked in December 2024 after just 12 ISL matches (3 wins, 7 losses), with interim coaches Tomasz Tchorz and T.G. Purushothaman stabilizing the ship to end the league on a high note.

Catalán, appointed in early 2025, inherited a squad blending youth (like Azhar and his twin brother Mohammed Aimen) with veterans (Adrián Luna, Hormipam Ruivah). Despite beating East Bengal 2-1 in the Kaling Super Cup opener, Kerala suffered a humiliating 0-4 loss to Mohun Bagan Super Giant in the quarterfinals, exiting via the reserves’ bench. Azhar, who featured in 16 ISL games last season (2 goals, 1 assist), reflected: “Last season taught us resilience. Now, with Catalán’s tactics, we’re sharper.”

Super Cup Ambitions: Path to AFC Glory
The Super Cup, starting October 30, 2025, in Goa, offers Kerala a direct ACL2 playoff ticket to the winners—crucial for continental exposure and potential revenue. Grouped with Rajasthan United (Oct 30), Mumbai City FC (Nov 3), and Punjab FC (Nov 6), Catalán’s side eyes a top-two finish. Azhar, a Kerala Blasters academy product since 2018, debuted in the 2023 Durand Cup and scored his senior goal in a 7-0 rout of CISF Protectors. Part of the 27-man squad announced on October 25, he added: “Winning here isn’t just about silverware—it’s our gateway to Asia. The fans deserve that dream.”

Kerala’s revamped roster includes:
Goalkeepers: Sachin Suresh, Kamaljit Singh, Alsabith S.T., Muhammad Jaseen M.
Defenders: Hormipam Ruivah, Bikash Yumnam, Milos Drinčić, Dušan Lagator, Naocha Singh, Aibanbha Dohling, Muhammed Saheef, Sandeep Singh.

Midfielders: Vibin Mohanan, Danish Farooq, Freddy Lallawmawma, Adrián Luna, Mohammed Azhar, Yoihenba Meitei, Ebindas Yesudasan, Korou Singh, Mohammed Aimen, Renthlei Lalthanmawia.

Forwards: Kwame Peprah, Jesús Jiménez, Noah Sadaoui, Sreekuttan M.S., Ishan Pandita.
With ACL2 playoffs offering group-stage entry against Asian powerhouses, Azhar’s vision aligns with the club’s “Manjappada” ethos. Matches stream live on FanCode and Star Sports. Can Kerala conquer the Super Cup and unlock Asia? Azhar believes so—watch this space.

New Delhi, October 25: Indian football continues to make quiet but significant strides on the global stage. In a big development for the sport, young Indian midfielder Kalidas Naji from Kerala has signed with NK Međugorje, a club competing in the Bosnian third-tier league.

The teenager, who has already spent time playing for several youth sides in Bosnia, earned his contract after an impressive trial stint with the club. His hard work and adaptability in European football impressed the coaches and management, leading to his official signing.

This move is seen as a major opportunity for the budding midfielder, as playing in Europe, even at the lower tiers, provides valuable exposure and experience against physically stronger and technically disciplined players.

Indian football fans and analysts have welcomed the news, calling it a positive sign for the growing presence of Indian youngsters abroad. Kerala, in particular, has produced several promising talents in recent years, and Naji’s progression could inspire more players from the state to pursue opportunities overseas.

The signing comes at a time when Indian football authorities are emphasizing grassroots development and encouraging players to explore foreign training environments. While NK Međugorje is not among Europe’s elite clubs, the platform it offers could help Naji further sharpen his skills and potentially climb higher up the football ladder in the coming years.

For Indian football, every such signing matters, as it reflects both the ambition of its young players and the slow but steady recognition of their potential abroad.
